Matthew Stanton

Matthew Stanton grew up in Leicester, England and also attended university there to study Music Technology and Innovation between 2000 and 2003.
During that time Matthew experimented with a range of styles and techniques to broaden his musical pallet. 

After graduating from DeMontfort University in 2003, Matthew went on to do a masters degree in Postproduction: Composing Music for Film and Television at the media school of Bournemouth University. There, he met and collaborated with many filmmakers and animators.

Since then Matthew has worked on several short films including a documentary funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation about a refugees and asylum seekers volunteer program being run from the Leicester Central Lending Library.

Matthew composes music to image mainly, but also regularly composes jingles and library music.

He lives in Leicester with his wife Katie.
