Michael Jorns - soundtrack composer
Michael Jorns was born in 1984 near Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
His interest for film music began in 1999 after he recognized that there was music in the movie "Crimson Tide". He liked this kind of music a lot and that’s why he started to collect film scores, especially those written by Hans Zimmer.
By hearing and studying the "music from the movies", he was inspired to compose his own soundtracks. Michael taught himself how to compose and to produce music with samples in order to achieve the sound of an orchestra and the sound of modern film music.
In 2004 he participated in the course "Electronic Music Producer" at the SAE Institute in Frankfurt to learn more about the technical aspect in music.
